Samsung Electronics Nordic AB (“Samsung”, “we”, “us”, “our”) know how important privacy is to our customers, and we strive to be clear about how we collect, use, disclose, transfer, and store your personal information.
This Privacy Notice applies to the use of “Clean Your Conflict”, a service where users may receive guidance from an expert on how to handle conflicts stemming from tensions in the laundry room (the “Service”). Clean Your Conflict is available on the web address www.cleanyourconflict.com. This Privacy Notice applies regardless of whether you use a computer, mobile phone, tablet, TV, home appliance device, or other smart device to access the Service.
We do not ask for or require any personal data when you use the Service, other than your IP-address so that we can connect you with our expert.
If you choose to send an email to book an appointment with our expert, your name and email address will be processed. We cannot stop you from sending other personal data about you, but we are not asking for it – we only need your name and email address to set up an appointment with our expert.
We will use your IP-address to enable the video chat with our expert.
If you send us an email to book an appointment, we will use your name and email address to administrate timeslots and appointments, and to correspond with you regarding your appointment.
Samsung’s legal basis to process the IP-address and your name and email address is that it is necessary for the (i) performance of a contract between you and Samsung (the Terms and Conditions for the Service), accepted by you as you use the Service; and/or (ii) in order to take steps at your request to enter into the contract (i.e. you send a request for booking an appointment).
We may disclose your information internally within our business to the relevant teams such as, without limitation, the customer services team, the legal team, and the finance team. We may also disclose your information to the following entities, only to the extent that this will be necessary to perform the Service:
Your IP-address will be transferred to the United States of America, for the provision of the Service as described above regarding service providers. The safeguard mechanism for the transfer is the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield.
You have the right to request details about the information we collect about you and to request us to correct inaccuracies in that information, to object to or request the restriction of processing, and to request access to, or the erasure or portability of your information. Under the laws of some jurisdictions, we may decline to process requests that are unreasonably repetitive, require disproportionate technical effort, jeopardise the privacy of others, are extremely impractical, or for which access is not otherwise required by local law. If you would like to make a request to access your information, please visit our Privacy Support page for Sweden, Denmark, Norway or Finland.
The last 1500 IP-addresses in the server logs are stored by our creative agency, but no single IP-address is stored for longer than one week.
Emails sent to the Service will be deleted when the Service is discontinued, and in any case before 31 December 2019.
